Kennesaw State University
Horizons Atlanta at Kennesaw State University (KSU) serves 135 scholars in rising 1st through 9th grades from Paulding County. Scholars receive small group instruction from certified teachers with an emphasis on reading comprehension and mathematics. Horizons Atlanta at Kennesaw State University has a strong partnership with the Bagwell College of Education at KSU. Scholars benefit from a myriad of KSU connections including TRAC (Teacher Resource & Activity Center), Call Me M.I.S.T.E.R, swim instruction at KSU Aquatic Center, along with a rigorous STEM education provided by KSU iTeach and GYSTC (Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center). Scholars also enjoy enrichment classes such as Spanish and Art, as well as weekly educational field trips.
