Our Advisory Board includes top corporate, education, and community leaders all of whom have formerly been heavily involved with Horizons Atlanta.
John and Mary Brock | John began as Horizons Atlanta’s Founding Board Chair in 2013 when Horizons National and Mary Brock, who served on the National Board, conceived the idea to start a regional model in Atlanta. John is the retired CEO of Coca-Cola European Partners PLC and Mary is a philanthropist and active community leader who also previously served on the Horizons Atlanta Board of Directors Development Committee.
Irene Oakley Johnson | Irene Oakley Johnson formerly served on the Horizons Atlanta Board of Directors Development Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. She is the first lady of Clark Atlanta University and the former procurement professional in the Mission Operations Support Office at NASA’s Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Prior to joining NASA Irene had a successful career in human resources development and talent management and acquisition. She served as the Corporate Recruiting Leader in the Futurestep division of Korn Ferry International and Regional Corporate Recruiter for Mercer HR Global, one of the world’s largest employee benefits consulting firm.
Stacy Scott | Stacy Goodman Scott is an Atlanta native and volunteer Community Advisor. Stacy has enjoyed a notable corporate sales career for large companies such as Colgate-Palmolive and Viacom and previously served on the Horizons Atlanta Board of Directors as a key member of the Resource Development Committee. Stacy and her husband Jim, CEO of In Zone Brands, have been highly involved as parents and Athletic Association members at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School.
Dave Stockert | Dave Stockert previously served as the Treasurer/CFO, Finance Committee Chair, and Treasurer/Committee Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Horizons Atlanta Board of Directors. Dave is a partner in Sweetwater Holdings and a director of Mid-America Apartment Communities. He previously worked for eight years as an investment banker and a CPA before serving as CEO and President of Post Properties for nearly 15 years. Dave received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A from Columbia University.
Louise Wells | Louise Wells is the Retired Managing Partner of Morris, Manning & Martin and the founding partner of the firm’s Residential Real Estate Practice. She previously served on the Horizons Atlanta Board of Directors as the Secretary of the Development Committee.
